David joined the Exeter office in 1984. In 1987 he transferred to head up the Exmouth Office and became a Partner in 1988. David is an experienced family lawyer and advocate who specialises in representing children‚ guardians and parents in Court proceedings. He has many years’ experience in dealing with financial disputes on marriage/relationship breakdown with a particular interest in pension sharing options. David also advises on cohabitation agreements and civil partnerships. He is an accredited Law Society Children Panel and Advanced Family Law Panel member.

Jo trained with Ford Simey and qualified as a solicitor into the Family team in 2005. She specialises in issues arising from relationship breakdown including divorce‚ finances‚ cohabitation disputes and arrangements for children. Jo is a member of Resolution.

Rebecca completed her law degree at Exeter University. She is a Solicitor with the Firm having commenced in September and is currently working with the Family team based in Exmouth.

Clare specialises in Family Law having a particular interest in cases concerning children. Clare is an Advanced Member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and is a Member of Resolution. She is also a member of the Law Society Children Panel‚ a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children‚ a qualified Family Mediator and has worked for Plymouth Mediation both as a Family Mediator and Legal Consultant. Clare became a partner in 2006.

John Graham is a native of Exeter and has practised Family Law all his working life. He has considerable experience in dealing with a wide range of disputes between married and un-married couples. He is a member of Resolution and subscribes to the conciliatory approach to family cases which is promoted by the Association.

Martyn is a highly experienced, specialist, Family Lawyer and is a Consultant to the firm. He is committed to resolving family issues arising on divorce or separation in a conciliatory manner whenever possible but will litigate firmly if necessary.  He is used to dealing with complex financial and property problems and difficult disputes concerning a couple’s children. He enjoys drafting pre- and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. Martyn is a Family Mediator and is authorized to conduct MIAMs. He is a Collaborative Lawyer, a member of Resolution and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners.
